Passenger Service Technician
Norfolk, VA · General LaborJOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Experience with passenger service tires. Experience mounting/dismounting, balancing, repair and complete installation.
- Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems.
- Maintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs. Knowledge of computer aps or ability to understand.
- Keep shop equipment operational by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; and calling for repairs.
- Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
- Keep a clean service area.
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Other duties can and will arise, and the candidate should be prepared to take on these challenges openly.
EDUCATION
- High School Degree or GED.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum age of 18.
- Valid drivers license.
- State Inspection license.
- Must have own tools.
