McCarthy Tire is looking for a Store Manager to take full ownership of our store’s daily operations, lead a motivated team, and drive outstanding business results. Leadership & Team Management
Lead, motivate, and develop store personnel to create a high-performing, engaged, and professional team.
Set clear job responsibilities, performance goals, and hold team members accountable.
Recruit, hire, and retain qualified employees to build a strong team.
Manage employee scheduling, payroll, and approve time-off requests.
Provide coaching and discipline when necessary to maintain high standards.
Operational Excellence
Develop and execute action plans to improve store performance and achieve sales goals.
Ensure operational efficiency by resolving barriers that affect goal achievement.
Oversee inventory management including stock levels, ordering, and conducting inventory counts.
Coordinate delivery schedules and manage night call rotations to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment for employees, customers, and vendors.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Customer Service & Business Growth
Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure prompt, satisfactory resolutions.
Work closely with sales staff to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
Drive store marketing, sales initiatives, and promotions to grow the business.
Financial & Administrative Management
Manage store payroll and budget to meet financial targets and control costs.
Plan and prioritize work, allocate resources efficiently, and oversee project completion.
Apply management principles related to budgeting, labor cost control, and overtime management.
High school diploma or GED required; further education is a plus
Proven experience managing a retail or commercial automotive location
Strong leadership and team-building skills with a track record of developing employees
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
Valid driver’s license and flexible availability to meet store hours
Strong customer service focus and professional integrity
Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
