Position Overview:

McCarthy Tire Service is seeking an experienced and dependable Off-The-Road Tire Technician to perform tire services on large equipment at customer sites including mines, quarries, ports, and construction sites. This is a field-based role requiring prompt response to dispatches, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tire service for large off-the-road (OTR) equipment at customer locations.
Respond promptly and professionally to service dispatches.
Maintain clear communication with customers and dispatch personnel.
Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient completion of all assigned tasks.
Support and assist team members when needed.
Take initiative in performing above and beyond the minimum job requirements.

Additional Duties:

Take on other duties and responsibilities as they arise. Flexibility and a proactive attitude are essential.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of experience in the tire and/or construction industry.
Strong technical knowledge of tools, equipment, and best practices for tire service.
Valid CDL Class A or B driver's license.
Valid MSHA certification (training can be provided).
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), and able to pass a drug test and DOT physical.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and instructions.
Must be physically capable of lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy equipment.
Willingness to work occasional overtime, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating as part of a team.

Safety Requirements:

Follow all safety guidelines outlined in the Employee Safety Manual.
Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and required preventative maintenance.
Properly use and maintain all tools and safety equipment.
Report all incidents and accidents immediately to your supervisor.

Work Authorization:

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
