Mechanic – Culpeper, VA

McCarthy Tire is seeking an experienced Mechanic with strong general automotive repair skills. A Virginia State Inspection License is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Virginia state inspections and general automotive repair.

• Complete maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, fluid services, and basic part replacements.

• Inspect vehicles and communicate repair needs to the service writer or manager.

• Provide accurate repair recommendations, parts lists, and labor times.

• Conduct courtesy inspections when approved.

• Ensure all under-hood, under-car, and preventive maintenance inspections are completed accurately.

• Follow all OSHA, city, county, and state safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Virginia State Inspection License (mandatory)

• General automotive maintenance and repair experience

• Positive, team-oriented attitude

• Strong communication and customer service skills
