Job Description
McCarthy Tire Service is seeking a Road Service Tire Technician to join our team in Reading, Pennsylvania. This role involves performing tire service and repair work both in-shop and at customer locations. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a mobile service environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires as directed by the Service Manager
- Provide roadside assistance and travel to customer locations for inspections and tire repairs
- Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
- Participate in training programs and adhere to safety procedures and company standards
- Be available for on-call and night service as scheduled
- Complete additional duties as assigned

- Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Experience with heavy-duty and commercial tires, including mounting and dismounting
