Mobile Maintenance Mechanic
McCarthy Tire is seeking a skilled Mobile Trailer Technician to perform on-site trailer maintenance and repairs at customer locations. This role requires independent work in a mobile service environment, delivering quality repairs and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and trailer inspections
- Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and other trailer components
- Complete welding and structural trailer repairs as needed
- Forklift Tire Pressing
- Respond to customer service calls and provide professional on-site support
- Accurately document work performed and maintain a safe work environment
- Work occasional overtime and after-hours service calls when required. Some night service will be required.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Welding experience required
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a DOT physical
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Own tools required
- CDL and Class 7 Inspection License preferred but not required
- Mobile repair experience is a plus
