Warehouse Manager

Location: Albany, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Salary: $50,000–$55,000 per year, depending on qualifications

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Albany, NY warehouse. This is a critical role responsible for maintaining efficient warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory, coordinating daily workflow, and supporting the overall needs of the business.

The ideal candidate is an organized, hands-on leader who can effectively manage warehouse activities while also being comfortable working alongside the warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and prioritize workflow to meet business needs
• Manage inventory levels, inventory tracking, and cycle counts
• Coordinate receiving, shipping, loading, and unloading of deliveries
• Ensure accurate inventory records and documentation
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform and oversee material handling and heavy lifting as needed
• Utilize computers and warehouse management systems for inventory tracking, data entry, and other administrative tasks
• Maintain an organized, clean, and productive warehouse environment
• Ensure compliance with company safety and housekeeping standards
• Coordinate and communicate daily warehouse activities with other departments
• Identify and address inventory or operational issues in a timely manner
• Provide hands-on leadership and support to warehouse personnel
• Perform other duties as required to support warehouse operations

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or inventory management experience preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Forklift experience and the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn warehouse management/inventory systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform physical labor, including heavy lifting and material handling
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
