Passenger Service Technician / Alignment Specialist

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Passenger Service Technician / Alignment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing vehicle alignments, tire service, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs on passenger vehicles. This position plays a critical role in ensuring vehicle safety, performance, and customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform wheel alignments and related suspension inspections.
- Mount, balance, rotate, repair, and replace passenger vehicle tires.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and diagnostic testing.
- Perform preventative maintenance services, including:
- Oil and filter changes
- Tire rotations
- Wheel balancing
- Engine tune-ups
- Air and cabin filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical system issues.
- Inspect vehicles to identify maintenance requirements and safety concerns.
- Verify repairs and vehicle performance through road testing and system evaluations.
- Perform state inspections and ensure compliance with applicable safety and emissions standards.
- Accurately document inspections, maintenance services, and repair activities.
- Maintain shop equipment and tools in safe, clean, and operational condition.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking parts and supplies.
- Stay current with vehicle technology, repair procedures, and industry best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support team operations and assist with additional tasks as needed.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced service environment.
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture through teamwork, professionalism, and strong customer service.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Current State Inspection License required.
- Must provide and maintain a personal set of tools.
- Experience with passenger vehicle tire service and wheel alignments preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
