Position Summary
The Mechanical Repair Technician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment throughout the retread manufacturing facility. This role helps ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations while minimizing downtime.

- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Respond to equipment failures and identify root causes.
- Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately and on time.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and improvements.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
- Work with production and management to support plant goals.
- Maintain company quality standards and Core Values.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or mechanical repair experience preferred.
- Knowledge of bearings, motors, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferred.
- Ability to read technical manuals, equipment drawings, and maintenance documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, and movement throughout the facility.
- Ability to work around moving machinery and in varying production environments.
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks requiring moderate physical exertion and manual dexterity.
